The Computer is your Friend

This is the motto of the Winnersh Warren. It is not anything to do with the game Paranoia. That game was just an unkind piece of Fudd propaganda. Every human should want a nice computer with a really fluffy operating system like the ones put out by that clever Mr Gates. No, it really does need all that memory and hard disk space to carry out simple operations. Of course the computer isn't watching and recording your every move. That's just ... paranoia.

Anyway, we consider it our duty to help you humans have really friendly computers by making a few suggestions to sympathetic companies. After all, we are much more advanced technologically than you humans. It would be unfair not to share the safer aspects of our technology with you.

The unsafer aspects? Oh, those are just a few self defence measures we need to take care of those Fudds who can't believe talking rabbits have human's best interests at heart. Nothing to worry about.

Now, some people have problems with beneficial bunnies. Fudds, mostly, but some of you humans are so paranoid sometimes. Therefore we devilbunnies keep a bit of distance between our ideas and the headquarters of the sympathetic companies in the United States. One way, the way of our warren, is to feed our helpful suggestions into the overseas (to them) arms of those sympathetic companies, which are all so helpfully gathered in Berkshire, England. Then, if anyone back at HQ wonders where these great ideas come from, they would have to trek off abroad to find out. This is generally too much bother, so that's all right. Even if it isn't, our computers are used by the airlines these people travel on, so we have plenty of warning of their flights. After all, we don't want culture shock or paranoia in such inquisitive minds, do we?

We also write and sell our own software, primarily to other buns, under the name "Winnersh Software". We do a cute line in widebeam and tightbeam communication software, and many fluffy enhancements to BUNIX. The best way to buy is to invite us round on what we hope is our annual Winnersh Warren Walkabout.
