Staff of Winnersh Warren
Chief Mentat Bobtail
This grizzled brown doe is head of the Winnersh Warren. She is very proper,
except when throwing a temper tantrum. Then she earns her nickname Bobcat
in her spitting, shrieking (and distinctly uncute) anger.
She rose through the administration ranks, rather than the science bun
ones, and so needs difficult stuff explained to her in simple words. She
is however an excellent leader of the warren, and most buns there are deeply
loyal to her. One particular reason for this is that she keeps Westminster
Warren out of everybun else's fur.
Captain Whitefoot
This devout Frith worshipping brown and white buck is head of what little
military the warren has. He was born in the warren, and is loyal to it,
and to C.M. Bobtail. However, in his command he has a real mess of milbuns.
Some are locals, enthusiastic but flawed in some manner (if they weren't
then they would have been taken by Lucky's recruiters). Others are assorted
milbuns Lucky decided he didn't want on the front line, but didn't wish
to execute as traitors. The rest are a small group of milbuns that Whitefoot
can actually trust. Things have become little better under the Warren Leaders
Council.
If a symp has stepped too far out of line he deals with it.
Mentat Cottontail
This long-haired black and white buck is charged with Human Resources.
That is, he is the symp's primary controller, and head of the bun field
agents who crouch in hutches pretending to be pets, while actually being
the masters.
Mentat Larkspur
This plain buck looks after Bracknell Subwarren. It is his "reward" for
one too many experiments going wrong. The experiments were really clever,
and worth trying, but Bobtail couldn't cope with another clean up. Thus
she promoted him into administration. Perhaps she doesn't realise the experiments
an administrator can carry out?
Submentat Columbine
The heart throb doe of a submentat looks after the Southern Seas sub-warren.
Obviously she looks after the subs (or swans) there as well. All her male
staff are in love with her, and do whatever she says. Only time will tell
whether that is a good idea.
Priestess Silkenfur
A proud doe, of many litters, who has now turned to Frith, and dedicates
herself to his service as a thank you for a fine life so far. She is disappointed
by the lack of fervour through the warren, but it is better than the inclination
to Inle amongst many buntroopers.
Comm Bun's Tigerlily, Lambstail and Flopsy
Webmeisters supreme. Composers of these pages. Providers of commentary.
Tigerlily's brown fur is almost golden orange, and she is a tom buck.
Lambstail is a meek white buck, and does not expect to inherit the earth.
Flopsy is a reliable lop-ear.
All are involved in the Wynn
Fan Club. Tigerlily alternately takes Wynn as a role model and rival.
Lambstail is deeply in love with Wynn (but would never admit it). Flopsy
treats it as another task to be done, he's not really a fan.
